The Nail Files: Blue + Fun

Hey there!
Be sure to check out Wednesdays post about sewing and an oil hair treatment you can make at home!!

Ahh, an amazing day off from school yesterday! Got to spend it with my best friend- Patricia! Love you!! Even if was just breakfast at ihop and catching up, it was a day well spent before work!

And I also got a....PAUL MITCHELL HAIR STRAIGHTENER.
Yepp, bye-bye Chi, HELLO Paul Mitchell!!

{I believe that}It's definitely worth the money because of the warranty as opposed to the Chi. It's so cute! It looks like pink hand writing on it! Can you tell I'm excited??

Now let's get to...
Thanks to the hosts!
This gorgeous blue is by L.A. Color: Color Craze.
Unfortunately, there is no name for the color that I have been wearing.

It's just a few shades lighter than that rich royal blue.
It's a pale color, but not really a pastel either.
Gorgeous color and an awesome price!

{Please excuse the chips and what not, looks like I need to go over my nails with another coat!}
The only thing I don't like is that it takes a really long time to dry. But since I bought this from the dollar store, yeah one dollar-, I won't complain too much!
But, now that I think about it, it was quite thick too.
Probably because I have had it for at least
1 and a 1/2 years and never used it.
So, the only justifiable complaint I can have it that it takes too long to dry.

I'm also hoping it doesn't stain my nails-but I did use a base coat! I'm debating if I should have added a glitter top coat.

What color were you showing off this week?
Try some new ones? New brands

  1. Hi Aishah! Thanks for the comment on my blog - the nail polish I shared yesterday is Bobbie in "Mint Daquiri". It's a local brand here in the Philippines.
